UIDAI has made many services better and easier with Aadhar Card, such as if you want to change your photo, address or mobile number in Aadhar Card, you can do this easily from home.
UIDAI has now discontinued a support service. In fact, in case of loss or rupture of Aadhar card earlier, you could go to UIDAI’s website and order a reprint for a new Aadhar card and order at a registered address, for which you also had to pay a charge of Rs 50. But that can’t happen now because the service is now discontinued by UIDAI.

In fact UIDAI is now making the Aadhaar card in PVC format. Its size is the same as a debit card, which can be easily kept in your pocket or wallet compared to the previous card. The Aadhaar card that UIDAI has stopped printing was too large in size. It has now been replaced by PVC Aadhaar card. So if you want to order a new Aadhaar card, you can order a PVC Aadhaar card. If a physical copy is to be submitted for any work, its print can be taken.

In fact, a person on Twitter asked a question on the Aadhaar Help Center: Can I reprint my Aadhaar letter? I don’t see any option on the website. Process to apply for PVC Aadhaar card
Visit the official website of UIDAI https://resident.uidai.gov.in/.
Placing the cursor on the My Aadhaar Section will bring up a drop down menu. In the Get Aadhaar tab option, click on Order Aadhaar PVC Card.
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number (UID), 16-digit Virtual Identification Number (VID) or 28-digit Enrollment ID and enter the security code.
Click on the checkbox next to My Mobile number is not registered.
Enter the mobile number and click on Send OTP.
Click the Submit button by clicking on the Terms and Conditions check box.
Note here that you will not see the preview of Aadhaar card as you have requested OTP through unregistered mobile number.
Click on Make Payment.
The Payment Gateway page will open with a payment option via Credit, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI. Here you have to pay Rs.
After the payment is successful, a receipt will be generated which you can download in PDF format.
A service request number will be received via SMS. It allows you to check PVC card status before dispatch.
You will also receive an SMS with an AWB Number. With this number you can track the Aadhaar PVC card after it is dispatched, when it was dispatched and by when it will reach you.
Support PVC card will reach the registered address within 15 working days. All information from dispatch to delivery of this card will be sent by registered mobile number.
